Performance Physical Therapy, Strength and Performance Coaching
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a strength coach, a husband, a father, and a friend. Every one of those roles shapes the way I approach this work.
Physical therapy brought me into this field, but strength training showed me what was actually possible. Not just for recovering from injury, but for showing up more fully in every area of life. When I am consistent in my training, everything else is better. My energy, my patience, my presence with my family, the way I lead and the way I give. I felt that connection deeply enough that I could not in good conscience keep delivering care that stopped short of it.
I believe most people are living below what they are actually capable of, not because they lack the drive, but because nobody has ever given them the right plan, the right environment, and the genuine belief that more is possible for them. That is what gets me up in the morning. That is what Prime Performance was built around. Not symptom management, not discharge paperwork, but real and lasting strength built around the life you actually want to live.
The work I do here is personal to me because I have seen what it does beyond the gym. When someone builds genuine strength and confidence in their body, it does not stay contained to their training. It shows up in how they parent, how they lead, and how they move through the world. It inspires the people around them to do the same. That ripple effect is the whole point. It is what I am here to build, one person and one plan at a time.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Most people are not failing. They just have not had the right plan.
I believe the body is more adaptable than most people have been told, and that the ceiling most people are living under is not physical. It is the result of never having the right environment, the right support, and the right belief that more is actually possible for them.
Strength is not just a training goal here. It is the foundation of everything. The way you show up for your kids. The way you lead at work. The energy you bring to the people who matter most to you. When you build real, intentional strength around a plan designed specifically for your life, it does not stay contained to the gym. It ripples outward into everything.
That is the work I am here to do. Not to manage your symptoms and send you home. Not to hand you a generic program and wish you luck. But to build something with you that changes the way you move, the way you feel, and the way you show up in every area of your life.
You are more capable than you have been told. The right plan proves it.
THE PROBLEM
Most programs were never built for people like you.
Traditional physical therapy was designed to reduce pain and get you discharged. It was not designed to get you back under a barbell, back on a court, or back to the physical life you actually love. The moment your pain drops below a certain threshold, the program ends, and you are left in the gap between where you are and where you actually want to be.
General personal training fills some of that gap but not all of it. A great coach can build your strength, but without the clinical foundation to understand what your body has been through and what it actually needs, there is a ceiling on how far that programming can safely take you.
That gap, the space between rehab and real performance, is where most people plateau, get re-injured, or quietly accept that they will never quite get back to where they were.
Prime Performance was built specifically to close that gap. Not rehab that stops short of performance. Not training that ignores your history. But a program that treats both as part of the same mission, because for people like you, they are.
THE TRANSFORMATION
This is what it looks like when the right plan finally shows up.
Most people who walk through the door are not looking for a miracle. They are looking for a direction. They come in frustrated, a little scared, and tired of feeling like they are falling behind. They say things like "I just want to get back to what I love." Or "I am scared of making it worse." Or "I do not even know what I am allowed to do anymore."
Some are lifters. Some play tennis or golf on the weekends and refuse to give that up. Some are busy professionals juggling demanding careers and kids who need them fully present, not sidelined by something that has been building for months. Some are grandparents who want to stay strong enough to keep up with the people they love most. What every single one of them has in common is simple. They have been waiting too long for someone to hand them a real plan and actually follow through on it.
So that is exactly where we start. We start with your situation, your goals, and your life, and we build a plan around all three. Not a template and not a protocol pulled from a filing cabinet, but something designed specifically for where you are right now and where you are trying to go. From that starting point, everything builds intentionally. Each session adds to the one before it, each phase prepares you for the next one, and the progress compounds in ways that genuinely surprise people, because most of them have never experienced what consistent, clinically guided work actually feels like when it is built around them. The moments that hit hardest are rarely the ones people expected going in. It is climbing a flight of stairs and realizing halfway up that you never once thought about your knee. It is squatting down to pick up your grandchild and standing back up without a second thought. It is swinging a golf club through impact and feeling nothing but the shot. It is getting through a full day of work and still having real energy left for your kids when you walk through the door. Those moments do not feel small to the people who went a long time without them. To them, those moments feel like getting their life back.
And once people experience that, something shifts in the way they think about this work. They stop thinking about it as a program with an end date and start thinking about it as simply how they live now. Because strength is not something you achieve and set down when you are done. It is something you build, protect, and grow over time, and the people who get the most out of this are the ones who embrace that early. Not because anyone pushed them to keep going, but because they finally understand what they are capable of and they are simply not willing to go back to anything less than that.
